It can withstand sudden impact loads such as motor start-up and equipment full load operation, with small voltage and frequency fluctuations, and can meet the strict requirements for power supply quality in data centers, hospital operating rooms, precision production lines, and other scenarios.

The structural design is sturdy and durable, with few vulnerable parts. Under normal maintenance, the cumulative operating life can reach 10000-30000 hours. After modifications such as low-temperature start-up and high-altitude adaptation, it can also adapt to harsh environments such as mining, field construction, and polar scientific research.

Conventional units can be started within seconds to minutes and can quickly switch power supply in case of grid interruption. Small and medium-sized units can be integrated into trailers or containers to achieve mobile power supply, suitable for emergency rescue, outdoor events, temporary construction sites, and other scenarios.

The global industrial chain is well-established, with sufficient supply of components and easy recruitment of maintenance personnel. The daily maintenance (such as changing oil and cleaning filter elements) has a low operating threshold, short downtime due to equipment failure, and reduces operation and maintenance costs.

Burning diesel produces pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and sulfur oxides (SOx). Units without exhaust treatment devices are difficult to meet strict emission standards such as EU Stage V and US EPA Tier 4, and their application is limited in urban core areas and ecologically sensitive areas.

The operating noise of open units is usually above 90dB (A), and mechanical vibrations can also be transmitted to the surrounding environment. Therefore, noise reduction facilities such as soundproof covers, mufflers, and shock absorbers need to be installed before they can be used in noise sensitive areas such as residential areas, hospitals, and office buildings.

Under the same power level, the purchase cost of diesel generator sets is higher than that of gasoline and gas generators; At the same time, diesel prices are greatly affected by international oil prices and regional supply, which will increase the uncertainty of long-term operating costs.

In low-temperature environments (such as below -20 ℃), diesel is prone to wax formation, making it difficult to start the unit. Auxiliary systems such as fuel heating and oil preheating are required, which increases equipment complexity and maintenance costs.
